From November 2015 to February 2022, Hein was the Managing Director at MediKredit Integrated Healthcare Solutions, leading the company to a 300% profit growth, through managing electronic healthcare claims processing for numerous healthcare providers and funders across Southern Africa.

Before MediKredit, Hein was Managing Director at 3 Degree Clinical Research & Consulting from November 2010 to October 2015, delivering clinical research services to clients in South Africa, the UK, and USA.

He was also General Manager Hospital, Dental, and Optometry at Medscheme from January 2002 to October 2010, where the team improved hospital utilization and claims management service efficiencies by over 70% over four years.

Hein’s early career includes roles as Senior Management Consultant at Sanlam, lecturer at Stellenbosch University, and Clinical Psychologist at 2 Military Hospital in Cape Town.
